Grab a seat outside Cocola... bakery n cafĂ© at the Stonestown Galleria. It's perfect for people watching located at the main entrance of the mall. Although they've had great reviews in the past I honestly think their food n pastries are decent but it's a relaxing spot during the day if you happen to be in the area with some time to kill before your next engagement. Come grab a cup of coffee and a quick bite while working on your laptop or when you are taking a breather from the day. I had the smoked salmon cream cheese croissant with fresh fruits and a salad on the side for lunch. It wasn't bad it wasn't good. I love a good warm flaky buttery croissant and this just didn't scream out at me as such a croissant. This sandwich was a tetris of a few different components that can't possibly go wrong when put together. I also got the chocolate brioche... it looked perfectly glazed on top as though it came right out of an ad or commercial. It was too bad it didn't taste as good as it looked. It was rather dry and not fluffy. Even after requesting them to heat it up in hopes that it would activate its fluffiness, it remained a bit dry and lacked a good moist fluff to its bite. They are known for their french pastries although the characteristics of their brioche and croissant doesn't show it. It may be because they bake fresh from one of their original locations. Don't have high expectations when it comes to their pastries at this location.  I can't speak for the 4 other locations in the bay area. Definitely relaxing which makes up for it.
